Element Electronics, an American-owned company, outsources some of its parts to other countries but assembles the televisions in the United states and is committed to bringing more of its manufacturing process back into the country when possible. As of 2015, Element has two manufacturing facilities in the U.S.
One company, Seura, hand-crafts high-end televisions in the U.S. These aren't sold at a local retailer. To purchase one, a customer must call the company and place a custom order. Seura produces specialty TVs, such as outdoor versions and television mirrors for bathrooms.
These aren't cheap. The company's Premier series might cost anywhere from $4,500 to more than $13,000, for example.
